What we’re doing is joining the Queens Dominican Parade scheduled on that day. That’s great because Dominicans have long believed in the Pan-Latin concept of us as one people.
Nearly 100 cultural, civic, and business groups are expected to march.

This year’s theme is right on. Together we are strong. It’s worth noting that our country, the United States of America, has the world’s second-largest Spanish speaking population, after Mexico. Somos muy orgulloso para mantener la idioma de nuestros padres. It even makes us better Americans.
And it’s really important this year for American citizens to vote for members of Congress who represent all of us.

Latinos have more political power than ever. Two years ago, many of us voted for a strongman character who hates Latinos and all people of color.
It’s time to take our country back by voting because we are Americans too.
