Attendees of the New York Show enjoyed a lineup of speakers, including Emmy Award-winning host Samantha Brown sharing insights from 25 years of traveling the world as a TV host; Pauline Frommer, editorial director of the Frommer’s Guides, sharing insights on how to save on travel in 2026; Andrew McCarthy, director and travel writer who shared excerpts from his forthcoming book “Who Needs Friends: An Unscientific Examination of Male Friendship Across America;” and travel authority and CBS Travel Editor Peter Greenberg, who offered his insights on hot button topics such as AI in travel. With America’s 250th anniversary just around the corner, travelers also heard from top domestic destinations unveiling special events and new experiences for the milestone year.

At the South African Tourism booth, visitors can discover the thrill of spotting the Big Five in Kruger National Park, while the Go Touch down Travel & Tours booth shows how to combine a safari with a visit to one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders, Victoria Falls.
India was one of the Sponsors for the 5th Annual New York Travel and Adventure Show 2026, I had the pleasure of being present and hearing the honored guests like Consul General. Amb. Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, talked about great things happening in India, as many travelers from the USA and around the world are visiting, all year round.
I also had the pleasure of speaking to Sudhir Patil, Founder and Chairman of Veena World , travel agency one of the largest travel agencies in India based in Mumbai and offices around the World.

He went to tell me, there bookings are up, and 2026 will shatter all kinds of records for their Tourism business.
It was a well-attended show despite the winter snow storm, we had on Sunday. People braved their way to be part of this great show.
