Exclusive interview with Charles Oakley Former Knicks player about 2026 Knicks and MSG

We had a pleasure of interviewing Mr. Charles Oakley Former Forward  for New York Knicks.

Charles Oakley is an American former professional basketball player. Oakley is best known for playing ten of his nineteen seasons in the National Basketball Association with the New York Knicks.

As a power forward, he consistently ranked as one of the best rebounders and defensive players in the NBA.

Charles Oakley is a retired American basketball player best known as a tough, physical power forward. He played 19 seasons in the NBA, spending 10 key years with the New York Knicks, where he reached the 1994 NBA Finals.

Founder of the Charles Oakley Foundation and active in various entrepreneurial and culinary projects.

Charles Oakley was ejected and arrested from Madison Square Garden on February 8, 2017, following a physical altercation with security guards.

The confrontation stemmed from a long-running feud with team owner James Dolan, as Oakley had been openly critical of Dolan’s leadership after years of friction.

Words quickly turned physical as Oakley resisted the guards, resulting in a scuffle where he shoved security staff.

Dolan slapped Oakley with an indefinite ban from the arena and made public accusations regarding his behavior, prompting a high-profile intervention by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and Michael Jordan.

Although the official ban was eventually lifted, Oakley has pursued ongoing legal action and stated he will not return to the Garden until Dolan issues a personal apology.

We Asked Mr Oakley about this situation in the interview as well as his opinion about NY knicks 2026, winning of their NBA Championship after 53 years.
