Yoko Ono Presenting Hamish Dodds President and CEO Hard Rock International -2014

Yoko Ono is a multimedia artist who became known worldwide in the 1960s when she married Beatles front man John Lennon.

Yoko Ono first met John Lennon of the Beatles in November 1966, when he visited a preview of her exhibition at a gallery in London. They began an affair approximately 18 months later and married in March 1969. The couple collaborated on art, film and musical projects until 1980, when Lennon was shot by a deranged fan. Ono has continued her art career as well as efforts to honor Lennon’s memory, including starting the Lennon Ono Grant for Peace Prize in 2002.

Ono first met John Lennon of the English rock band the Beatles on November 9, 1966, when he visited a preview of her exhibition at the Indica Gallery in London, England. Lennon was taken with the positive, interactive nature of her work. He especially cited a ladder leading up to a black canvas with a spyglass on a chain, which revealed the word “yes” written on the ceiling. The two began an affair approximately 18 months later. Lennon divorced his first wife, Cynthia (with whom he had a son, Julian, born in 1963), and married

Since Lennon’s death, Ono has continued her career, recording albums, performing concert tours and composing two off-Broadway musicals. She exhibited her art internationally, and the first U.S. retrospective of her work opened in New York City in 2002.

Ono has also continued to honor Lennon’s memory with a number of different projects. On October 9, 2002, she inaugurated the Lennon Ono Grant for Peace Prize to commemorate what would have been Lennon’s 62nd birthday. On Lennon’s birthday in 2007, she unveiled the Imagine Peace Tower on Videy, an island in Iceland. This outdoor artwork, created by Ono, represents her and Lennon’s commitment to world peace.

Interview with Chayanne, Puerto Rican Latin pop singer, actor and composer-2014

Elmer Figueroa Arce better known under the stage name Chayanne, is a Puerto Rican Latin pop singer, actor and composer. As a solo artist, Chayanne has released 21 solo albums and sold over 30 million albums worldwide. After Los Chicos separated in 1984, Chayanne began his career as a solo artist. He signed with RCA Ariola and released his first album, Chayanne es mi Nombre, that year. His second album with RCA, Sangre Latina was released in 1986.

After three years with RCA, Chayanne switched labels to Sony Music and broke out with his first self-titled album in 1987. This album featured a blend of ballads and dance tracks, a formula for which Chayanne would be famous. It featured two hit songs, the ballad “Peligro de Amor” written by Michael Sullivan and Paulo Massadas and a song that would cement him as an overall performer, the upbeat dance track “Fiesta en América” written by Honorio Herrero.

Following the album’s release, Chayanne began an international tour to promote Mi Tiempo. Among the places visited early in the tour were Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, and the United States. On August 24, 2008, he began a series of presentations in Spain. When interviewed he noted that the concert would be fluid “like a musical”, and “more Latin” than his previous presentations, being composed of “more pop, Brazilian, Caribbean and reggae rhythms” which he would use to “dance constantly”. He also gave a special performance in Miss Universe 2003 pageant.

In the 1980s, Chayanne participated in several soap operas and starred in the comedy series Generaciones with Luis Antonio Rivera. More recently, he has received several offers for acting jobs, but he has declined most of them for conflicting with his musical career, which he considers his priority.

Jerry “The King” Lawler Wrestling Champion interview at Comic Con-2014

Jerry O’Neil Lawler is an American semi-retired professional wrestler and color commentator in WWE. He is currently signed to WWE where he serves the play-by-play commentator on Raw and WWE PPVs. Lawler is known throughout the Professional Wrestling world as Jerry “The King” Lawler

Lawler is a former world champion, and has held 168 championships throughout his career. Overall, Lawler has held more championships than any other current WWE wrestler, though he has never won any WWE championships since joining the company.

Lawler began his WWF career in December 1992 as an announcer on WWF Superstars of Wrestling. From 1993 to 1995, he feuded with Bret Hart and the rest of the Hart family. The feud began at King of the Ring when Lawler interrupted Hart’s victory ceremony and attacked Bret.Lawler claimed that he was the only true king in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), and the two were scheduled to wrestle at SummerSlam to settle the dispute. At the event, however, Lawler came to the ring on crutches and claimed that he could not wrestle because of injuries suffered in a car accident. Hart faced Lawler’s “court jester”, Doink the Clown instead, and beat him by submission. Lawler then attacked Hart, revealing that he was not injured. Hart defeated Lawler by submission but refused to release the Sharpshooter. As a result, the referee reversed the decision and awarded the title of “Undisputed King of the World Wrestling Federation” to Lawler.

Though he has spent most of his life in Memphis, Lawler did spend a part of his childhood in Ohio after his father was transferred to a job in the state. Though this stay was brief, it would have an influence on Lawler throughout his life thereafter. He often cites Cleveland as his second-favorite city behind only Memphis and is a die-hard fan of both the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns. When WWE comes to Cleveland, Lawler will usually wear a Browns jersey or an Indians jersey, and during baseball season, he will throw out the first pitch at an Indians game.

Lawler is a collector of Coca-Cola and Superman merchandise, and owns a replica of the Batmobile from the 1960s Batman series.

SYNOPSIS
Few parents give much thought to the jovial man in the Santa suit who promises their kids they’ll get everything they want for Christmas. If they did, they might be surprised. The new documentary I AM SANTA CLAUS looks at the men who put on the red suit every December and selflessly commit themselves to making anonymous children happy. Directed by Tommy Avallone and produced by Hall of Fame professional wrestler, Mick Foley, I AM SANTA CLAUS is the latest film that’s being release as part of the successful “Morgan Spurlock Presents” film label.

Everyone thinks of Santa Claus as a magical figure without flaws, but the men who keep his legend alive, real-bearded professional Santas, are rarely anything like the jolly old Saint Nick we’ve all grown up knowing. In reality, the mall Santa in your cherished children’s photo has problems just like the rest of us. Even the most jovial of men fall victim to divorce, job loss, insecurity and even the occasional hangover.

Tommy Avallone’s documentary I AM SANTA CLAUS – featuring Hall of Fame pro wrestler (and producer of the film) Mick Foley, who knows a thing or two about make-believe – follows the lives of five professional Santas for an entire year, as they anticipate and prepare for Christmas season and then return to their “real” lives during the off-season. We see who they actually are: flawed, flesh-and-blood men who nevertheless feel a great responsibility to protect the spotless reputation of the “Red Suit.”

World Liberty TV, Team was on hand to interview Mick foley in regarding his upcoming Documentary Titled: I Am Santa Claus. At The NY Comic Con 2014, see what he had to say to us.

New York Comic Con and Super week -2014

The convention started with a 10-day-long ‘New York Super Week,’ which included 110 events around Manhattan and Brooklyn leading into Comic Con. The annual four-day nerd fest kicked off its ninth installment Oct. 9.

The annual four-day nerdfest known as New York Comic Con —kicked off its ninth installment Oct. 9 — has grown by leaps and bounds since its modest beginnings in 2006.

Last year’s event, which took up every nook and cranny of the Javits Center, drew a record 133,000 geeks, many of whom hid their secret identities under homemade costumes. The attendance was just over half the number of the annual pilgrimage at the older, more established San Diego Comic Con.

For fans in real-life Gotham, it’s become the ultimate geek mecca.

Yes, even the celebrities in attendance geek out when they beam into a haven for fellow lovers of comic books, sci-fi movies, superhero TV shows and video games.

“The whole idea of Super Week is to bust outside the walls of the Javits and to spread our pop culture goodness through the Borough of Manhattan,” says Lance Fensterman, the manager in charge of the New York show.

World Liberty TV, Gaming and Toys Team was on hand to meet the movers and the shakers of the Comic Con, also see interviews of some of the vendors exhibiting at Comic Con-2014.
