Macy’s and Rookie Kids brought the energy of New York City to the runway during New York Fashion Week with “Runway on Broadway: Where NYC Goes Back to School,” hosted by New York Knicks captain Jalen Brunson.

Presented in partnership with Haddad Brands and Brunson’s Second Round Foundation, the invitation-only event brought together fashion, sports, entertainment and philanthropy for a high-energy celebration of kids’ style, confidence and creativity.

The runway featured the latest back-to-school looks from Levi’s, Nike, Abercrombie & Fitch, Lacoste and Jordan, with a cast of young models including the children of celebrities, professional athletes and influencers.

In a special moment, celebrity parents joined their children on the runway, creating a memorable family affair that captured the spirit of the evening.

The entertainment lineup brought the excitement of New York sports and culture to the show, with performances by the Knicks City Kids, Knicks City Dancers and Brooklyn United.

Following the show, Rookie Kids presented a donation to Jalen Brunson’s Second Round Foundation, supporting the organization’s work to empower young people through education, athletics and community outreach.

“Runway on Broadway” transformed the traditional back-to-school fashion show into a distinctly New York celebration, bringing together the excitement of Broadway, New York Fashion Week, sports and youth culture while shining a spotlight on the importance of community and giving back.

With kids taking center stage, major fashion brands bringing the looks and New York’s biggest personalities filling the room, “Runway on Broadway” celebrated the start of a new school year with style, energy and purpose.

It was a well-attended only invite event, with a runway set outside at Macy’s Herald Square on the Broadway side, hundreds in attendance, and thousands more watching on the outside.

Jalen Brunson’s Second Round Foundation, was the beneficiary of a $25,000 thousand donation from the Haddad Brands, CEO, Sam Haddad.
