The Person of the Year Luncheon on Thursday, May 17, 2018, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm to honor His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan Archbishop of New York, as the ASIS NYC Chapter “2018 Person of the Year” for his dedication to the spiritual leadership to the people of New York.

The other honoree was Terrence B.Hoey (“Terry”)  employed by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management  Agency (FEMA).

Many leading law officials were in attendance, at the ASIS  New York City Chapter’s Person of the Year Luncheon-2018, Which included :

NYPD Police  Commissioner  James P. O’Neill, NYPD First Deputy  Commissioner  Benjamin B. Tucker, NYPD Deputy Commissioner  John J. Miller, NYPD Assistant Chief  Chaplin  MSGR. Robert  J. Romano, Michael  Greco  U.S. Marshal’s Service Chief , Patti  Ann  McDonald  wife  of  Hero  Detective  Steven  McDonald and Mayor of Malverne  New York and many many more law officers from many government agencies.

Close to 300 people were in attendance , the event started off with the The NYPD Emerald Society which played the Bagpipes and welcomed the Honored Dias guests, after that the Colors was done, and Mr Lynne Brown Chairman of ASIS New York City Chapter, introduced each of the Dias guests.

Don Francisco CPP,Vice Chair who  made remarks and introduced the first honoree, The other honoree was Terrence B.Hoey (“Terry”)  employed by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management  Agency (FEMA).

Terrence B.Hoey (“Terry”) , was very honored in receiving his award , as Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan Archbishop of New York, looked on and congratulated Terrence B.Hoey (“Terry”) with a huge hug.

His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan, made a wonderful speech thanking the ASIS Organization , and what the security companies have done for New York ,protecting  us from harm’s way.

A cheque  for five thousand was given, from ASIS and matched by additional $20,000 by Mulligan Security Corporation , total of  $ 25,000 was given  to Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan Archbishop of New York., Cardinal went on to say, he can play a lot of lotto, and he will be back next year  to collect another check in an jokingly manner., He is known for his warmth ,his sense of humor and his kindness to members of law enforcement and their families.
