Held in January and August in New York City, the Market hosts 2,800 exhibiting companies showcasing the very best lines across the home, lifestyle and gift spectrum.
The market introduced four new comprehensive market collections and a dynamic new exhibit floor layout, positioning New York as the defining marketplace for fashion-forward, design-driven home, gift and lifestyle resources. The show’s transformation also includes new branding, as NYIGF becomes “NY NOW, the Market for Home + Lifestyle.”
The market’s reorganization into three collections – HOME, LIFESTYLE, and HANDMADE – and the repositioning of related resources not only reinforces the depth and breadth of resources in the New York market, but also better reflects the way retailers are shopping and sourcing today.
NY NOW HOME : presents a comprehensive collection of 1,200 home furnishings, home textiles, decorative accessories, tabletop and gourmet housewares on Level 3 of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. A juried cross-category collection of contemporary design resources will continue to be presented under the renowned Accent on Design banner and within NY NOW HOME.
NY NOW LIFESTYLE : will showcase a broad spectrum of merchandise categories, including giftware, personal care, stationery, fashion accessories and children’s products. NY NOW LIFESTYLE’s 1,100 exhibitors will be located on Level 1 of the Javits Center, with an exhibit floor layout engineered to maximize synergies and cross-category shopping opportunities.
NY NOW HANDMADE : offers nearly 500 handcrafted resources – representing all home and lifestyle categories and crafted in all types of media – with distinct groupings of designer-makers and global import resources. Handmade® Designer Maker will continue to be presented in the Javits Center North and Handmade Global Design will continue to be presented in the Javits Center’s Level 4 Galleria.

The hulking 7 feet, 315 pound giant American basket ball player has a controversial success story in other areas of entertainment like rap music and movies. Renowned for his witty and humorous comments in media, the professional NBA athlete has a Net worth of $250 million making him one of the wealthiest sportsperson in the world.
The NBA superstar was born in Newark, New Jersey in 1972, and graduated from the Louisiana State University. He is in fact the only NBA player with an MBA degree. Nicknamed Diesel and Superman, the entertainer after reaping success in the ball game, turned his attention to films appearing in Kazaam, Blue Chips and Steel which earned decent public reviews. Off the court, Shaquille also reinvented himself as a rap artist. Hulk Shaquille’s expertise in scoring, blocking, rebounding and shooting during the course of play brought nightmares for his opponents and a flurry of eminence and affluence for himself. With prestigious 15 All-star game appearances, 4 NBA titles and a league MVP award, Shaquille has earned the repute of being termed the connoisseur of basket ball. He also became the first player in the NBA history to be named Player of the week in his first week in the league.
