Greater New York Chamber’s 18th Annual World Trade Week Awards Reception-2021

Celebrating World Trade Month in NYC, the GNYCC hosted their 18th Annual World Trade Week Reception both in person and virtually at Tudor City Steakhouse.

This years 2021 honorees were Bishnu Prasad Gautam, Consul General of Nepal in NY; Ambassador Lot. Egopija, Consul General of Nigeria in NY; Elias M. Levy, Consul General of Panama in NY. This years honoree for the Dr. Lucio Caputo International Awards was presented to Raffaele Ruggeri of Bice Restaurant Group. The International Tourism Award was received by Markly Wilson of the Empire State Development International Tourism Program. Other awardees included:

The Dr. Roy Hastick Trusted Trading Partner award was presented to the Caribbean America Chamber of Commerce. Others International Chamber partners: Consulate General of JAMAICA /JAMPRO & Embassy of Bangladesh.

Close to 35 people were in attendance for the Greater New York Chamber’s 18th Annual World Trade Week Awards Reception-2021, Tudor City’s Steakhouse ,provided  signature sides, wines, beers and  other beverages while we networking  and  honoring  took place with trusted trading partners in one of NYC’s best steakhouses.

It was great to see that Mr Mark Jaffe, President  of Greater New York Chamber,  and Mrs Helana Natt Executive Director are back in business during COVID-19, as they  announced many more  live events, they would be doing  throughout New York city.

The chamber issues and stamps documentation for international trade exportation i.e.: (certificate of origins, free sales, bill of ladings and GMP’s).

Greater New York Chamber of Commerce is an approved New York State Not for Profit; recognized by the US Chamber of Commerce. It operates under Rule 501 C 6, as an Exempt Organization of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. It also maintains a charitable fund to help assist local chambers, trade organizations and civic groups under IRS Rule 501 C 3 and a political action committee.
