    Snail Games, the parent company to LA-based Snail Games USA, has been a dominant figure in the Chinese gaming industry for over a decade. As the gaming landscape continues to change and the importance of mobile grows, Snail has set its sights on developing new concepts in gaming hardware and services, a peek at which it will allow this January.

    Key to its innovation strategy is the integration of software, hardware and services. Snail has already made the move into telecom, providing network services in China since early 2014. Snail has developed specialized data packages for mobile gaming, with free data and special rewards when used together with certain apps from Snail’s large library of mobile games.

    This combination of content publishing and development with telephony services, along with the enhanced experience of gaming hardware designed by Snail, has been a successful model in China, and is one Snail looks to bring to the US. Taking the first step on this path, Snail will reveal its latest cutting edge hardware at CES.     Ford Motor Company  debuts the 2015 Ford Focus and 2015 Ford Focus Electric at its New York Auto Show press conference on April 16.

    The Focus range was updated slightly with a new engine option and additional tech features. One of the most notable is the inclusion of a back-up camera standard on all models. It will appeared either on a 8-inch screen that also features an advanced SYNC AppLink system. The system will allow users to link to more than 60 apps available through either the Apple App Store or Android Market.

    Consumers can also choose from a new SE Sports Package that includes new body treatments, paddle shifters for automatic transmission, a sports suspension and 17-inch black gloss aluminum wheels.

    One of the greatest, most popular, most hated and charismatic wrestlers of all time, Hulk Hogan is one of the men who helped parlay the circus-like world of professional wrestling from cult following into the forefront of American entertainment. What many people who know about Hogan don’t know is he was in the “sport” for several years in virtual obscurity before hitting the big time. Hogan made his pro debut in 1978 and wrestled as “Sterling Golden” before becoming “Hulk.” Hogan was getting main event matches while wrestling in the American Wrestling Alliance (AWA) in the early 1980s before he was cast as Thunderlips in Rocky III (1982). That bit of casting propelled Hogan into the spotlight and he was soon to enter the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1983. At the time, the WWF was just beginning to go from local television (they were based in the Northeast U.S.) to national, and Hogan’s personality (and some well-done marketing and PR, plus the Wrestlemania series) helped to transform not only the WWF, but wrestling into the big show it is today. Hogan won the WWF title numerous times, and was credited with dealing André the Giant his first loss in pro wrestling.

    Hogan was soon seen everywhere — television, cartoons, movies, records and lunch boxes — but he was a part of the steroid scandal in the WWF, and quietly left the organization. Hogan laid low in wrestling circles, but continued to act before coming back, this time with World Championship Wrestling (WCW), the WWF’s bitter rival. Hogan helped create the New World Order, the main bunch of badmen in WCW, and became more popular than ever. He abandoned his trademark red and yellow colors for black, and even dyed his beard black. He still wrestles as of today, and, like it or not, is probably one of the best entertainers in any form of show business. He always put on a show.

    WWE Network, the first-ever 24/7 streaming network for wrestling content, will be launched live in the U.S. on Feb. 24, and will feature all 12 World Wrestling Entertainment, or WWE, live pay-per-view events.

    The network’s debut was officially announced by Vince McMahon, WWE’s chairman and CEO, at the CES 2014 in Las Vegas, and he was joined at the announcement by popular wrestlers John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H.

     “Today is a historic day for WWE as we transform and reimagine how we deliver our premium live content and 24/7 programming directly to our fans around the world,” McMahon said. “WWE Network will provide transformative growth for our company and unprecedented value for our fans.”

     The WWE Network will include “WrestleMania,” which will be made available for $9.99 a month with a 6-month commitment. At launch, the network will include original programming, reality shows, classic wrestling matches, and more than 1,500 hours of archived programming, which will include uncut and uncensored video libraries of World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling.

    The network will be available on desktops and laptops via WWE’s website. It will also be made available to fans through the WWE app on Android devices; iOS devices like Apple iPad and iPhone; Amazon’s Kindle Fire; Roku streaming devices; Sony PS3 and PS4; and Xbox360. The network will also be available on additional devices like Xbox One and select Smart TVs, after a few months of its launch.

     The second-screen experience, which will be made available for all original programming and live events through the WWE App, is said to be similar to the interactive fan experience currently available for flagship TV programs “WWE Raw” and “WWE SmackDown.”

     “We believe that this is the future,” Michelle Wilson, WWE chief revenue and marketing officer, reportedly said.

     WWE Network will air 30-minute-long pre- and post-shows for WWE’s weekly cable programs “Monday Night Raw” and “Friday Night SmackDown.” All episodes of original programming on WWE Network will be made available on demand immediately after they premiere.

     The network is scheduled to launch in the U.K, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and in Scandinavian countries by the end of 2014 or early 2015.
