The International Peruvian Festival and Peruvian Parade brings family and friends to enjoy this celebration of Peruvian cultural heritage and civic engagement.

The parade included creatively decorated parade floats as well as performances showcasing traditional Peruvian dance and music.

Beginning at   69^th St on 37^th Ave Jackson Heights Queens New York, the parade proceeded to 89^th Street 37^th Avenue, Jackson Heights Queens, New York.

Mayor of New York city Eric Adams, was the Grand Marshall of the event, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, Manuel Castro, Commissioner for the NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA).

Assemblywoman Jenifer Raj Kumar, Rafael Castellano, President of Colombian Day parade, Miguel Flores, President Queens Hispanic day parade and many more dignitaries, marched in the parade.

Some of the Organizations, included: Asociation De Vetranos, Latin NYPD Officers, Latin FDNY Officers, Queens Las America’s Lion’s Club.

International Peruvian Festival and parade team, Centro Cultural Colombian International, Cruz Roja Americana, La Victoria Foundation, Queens Borough President’s office, and many more.

The objectives of “International Peruvian Festival” is to bring to the Hispanic community in New York City, a celebration of Peruvian cultural heritage, folklore, and its rich millenarian history.

Our parade will be held at one of the most prestigious avenues and historic residential and commercial buildings in the heart of Jackson Heights.

With heavy pedestrians and vehicular traffic, high visibility business stores, and closeness to main subway transportation surrounded by city busses, anyone can get easily around.

Today, we come together to honor the vibrant diversity, resilience, and love that make our community so extraordinary. It’s a time to embrace our unique identities, support one another, and create a world where everyone feels accepted and celebrated.

Let’s raise our voices and amplify the stories of triumph, courage, and the remarkable achievements of individuals within our community.

There were hundreds of people lined up 37^th Ave, not only from Peru but from all cultures, watching and supporting the Six Annual Peruvian Parade and Festival Jackson Heights NY -2024.
