Vision Expo East 2018, where attendees will get the first look at the new Vision Expo Show experience at the Javits Center in New York, NY (Education: March 15–18; Exhibition: March 16–18).
“With a new creative campaign, website and planning tools, visitors will get a taste of the new Vision Expo before even stepping foot in New York,” said Melissa Ashley, Senior Vice President of Reed Exhibitions. “The changes carry over to an evolving Exhibit Hall, ensuring an engaging and valuable Show throughout all four days.
Vision Expo’s recently launched website makes it easier than ever for visitors to register, connect with others, and access the information and planning tools needed to tailor their time at the Show.
The website also displays Vision Expo’s new creative campaign, All About Eyes, and a taste of what’s to come once they arrive on-site including special events, education, complimentary amenities, contests and awards.
Many of the events debuting in 2018 will take place in the Show’s newly transformed lounges to provide attendees with more opportunities to learn, socialize and engage with exhibitors and peers.
Following the previously announced addition of OptiCon @ Vision Expo, the Show has also announced a new ‘OptiCon Hub’ – an Exhibit Hall destination designed exclusively for opticians and contact lens technicians featuring content, networking and lounge space, and representation from ABO-NCLE and its partner organizations.
Through more than 260,000 net square feet of exhibit space, three fashion pavilions and three science pavilions, attendees have access to the latest designer styles and cutting-edge innovations in products and technology both in the Exhibit Hall and through the robust education offerings that make Vision Expo the top eyecare event for the Americas.
About Vision Expo: Vision Expo, the worldwide conferences and exhibitions for eyecare and eyewear, are trade-only events that draw more than 30,000 eyecare professionals each year. Co-owned by Reed Exhibitions and The Vision Council, Vision Expo gives back to the entire ophthalmic community.
Proceeds are used by The Vision Council to educate consumers about the importance of vision care and the options in eyewear and other related products. In 2017, The Vision Council reached millions of consumers with its messages through marketing materials, public relations outreach and strategic partnerships.
Vision Expo is a proud supporter of Think About Your Eyes, a national public awareness campaign, presented by The Vision Council and the American Optometric Association, designed to educate the public on the benefits and importance of getting an annual comprehensive eye exam.
