In the summer of 2011, friends and business partners Nick Logothetis and Matthew Swift had an idea for convening thought leaders in the midst of the 10th anniversary of 9/11 to discuss the importance of partnerships in combating extremism.

Since then, Concordia has grown towards a belief that P3s are a fundamental tool to addressing many societal challenges. Concordia recognizes that cross-sector collaboration offers effective solutions.

Concordia fosters meaningful dialogue, sparks collaboration, and inspires collective action by way of diverse, innovative, and action-oriented programming. Concordia Members, Partners, and Advisors connect and collaborate year-round within ten Programming Pipelines, each representing a topical global challenge or social impact opportunity.

Each Pipeline houses several points of engagement that bring our community together to share best practices, incubate ideas, identify research needs, and explore new opportunities for partnerships.

Each Pipeline also contains one or more Collaborative comprised of issue area experts that work on more specific, ongoing topics with the end goal of forming a partnership for social impact.

The Gender Parity & Inclusive Diversity Pipeline focuses on issues ranging from women and girl’s empowerment to closing opportunity and achievement gaps for boys and young men of color. Concordia Members in this Working Group address more equitable representation in the C-suite, equal access to education for girls, and encourages women’s political participation globally.

Collaborative Advisors and Partners are working together to advocate for underrepresented minorities in the workplace, to empower the Office of the First Lady in nations around the world, and to increase the representation of women in both public and private sector seats of power.
