The 41st annual Pakistan Day Parade in New York City took place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, starting at 10 a.m. Madison Avenue, from 38th Street down to 27th Street.

After the parade, festivities took place to continue in the area around the parade’s conclusion.
New York City is home to over 200,000 Pakistani Americans who work hard, live peacefully and respect and cherish the beauty of America.

Long Live Pakistan Float
In a landmark acknowledgment of the invaluable contributions of the Pakistani-American community, the New York State Assembly adopted two significant resolutions, proclaiming March 23, 2025, as “Pakistan-American Heritage Day” and March 19, 2025, as “Pakistani-American Business Celebration Day” in the State of New York.

These resolutions represent a salient milestone, achieved through the dedicated efforts of the American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) and its President Mr. Ali Rashid.

Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, H.E. Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, and Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai attended the sessions of the New York State Assembly and Senate in Albany. Both dignitaries, along with APAG President Ali Rashid, were duly recognized and honored in the two legislatures.

Also, special thanks for Assembly member Nader Sayegh and Senator John Liu for sponsoring these resolutions and all the other legislatures for co-sponsoring it.

The 41st Annual Pakistan Day Parade New York City -2025, opened up by its organizers bringing greetings and welcoming VIP, Political leaders and marchers alongside the attendee’s in attendance.

There were many floats, and marchers waving Green and white flags, as they marched on a hot sunny day, from 38th St and Madison Ave, to 27th St and Madison Avenue where hundreds of vendors had many products they were selling, like clothing, Pakistani food and Cuisine, perfumes and so much more.

There was a stage set up for speeches, and entertainers, who performed life. Poetic readings and award presentations.
