NVIDIA Announces CES 2023 GeForce

CTA’s Vice President of Market Research Steve Koenig presented 2023’s Top Tech Trends to watch on Monday. New research from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® projects U.S. technology retail revenues of $485 billion in 2023. This new data puts revenues slightly above pre-pandemic levels, following a three-year surge in consumer technology spending that peaked at a record-breaking $512 billion in 2021. While CTA anticipates a looming recession and inflation will weigh against consumer spending in the coming year, consumer technology industry revenues will remain roughly $50 billion above pre-pandemic levels, with bright spots including technology services, automotive tech, and health and fitness technology. Meanwhile, many consumer technology prices have fallen thus fighting inflation.

Media Days featured 25 press conferences from global brands who unveiled products and broke company news before the show floor opened.

New for 2023, CES is partnering with the United Nations Trust Fund for Human Security and the World Academy of Art and Science on the Human Security for All (HS4A) global campaign to foster food security, access to health care, personal income, environmental protection, personal safety, community security and political freedom.
