CES 2020 Las Vegas Press Conferences

We had the pleasure of covering many different press conferences at CES 2020:

LG Electronics: LG presented its upcoming lines of TVs and kitchen appliances for the coming year. This year, the emphasis was on AI: in fact, the first 20 minutes of the presentation pushed a speculative look at the future of AI as a consumer service.

Monster: a world-leading manufacturer of audio products, is showcasing its groundbreaking new Music Share experience, powered by MultiLink technology, at CES 2020. The technology, which enables multiple Bluetooth devices to play audio in sync, is the result of a partnership between MultiLink LLC and Bay Area startup Wearhaus.

Panasonic: Team Panasonic is made up of the company’s 270,000 plus employees worldwide and today, Panasonic welcomed four new members. Michael Phelps, philanthropist and the most decorated Olympian of all time with 28 Olympic medals, 23 gold, joined Lauren Sallata, chief marketing officer of Panasonic Corporation of North America, to announce Team Panasonic at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Sony: Traditionally, Sony is the brand to hold its press conference at the end of the first day of CES. That’s no different for 2020, with the Japanese brand set to show-off its latest kit at the world’s largest consumer electronics trade show.

Faurecia:  Ahead of CES 2020 Faurecia CEO Patrick Koller shares insight on connected vehicle services and outlines the first steps of Faurecia and Microsoft Partnership with Jean-Philippe Courtois, Microsoft EVP.

Taiwan Excellence:  So what can you expect? Unlike many other manufacturers, Sony holds the conference on its Las Vegas stand’s show floor, not in a big hotel ballroom, so it’s much more product focused. There’s even rumour of a PlayStation 5 teaser, so this could be the big conference to watch.

UHD Alliance: The UHD Alliance is a global coalition of leading entertainment studios, consumer electronics manufacturers, content distributors and technology companies aligned to foster the creation of an ecosystem that fully realizes and promotes the next generation premium in-home entertainment platform. UHDA Board members are executives from: Dolby Laboratories, Panasonic Corporation, Samsung Electronics, Technicolor, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. Entertainment and Xperi Corporation.

TCL: Bargain-priced 4K TVs that don’t skimp on must-have features like Dolby Vision HDR, but the company is ready to move on to 8K TVs, new technology and other devices. At its CES 2020 press conference, TCL confirmed that its 8K Roku TV is still on the way and introduced Vidrian, a new form of Mini-LED technology and In 2020, it plans to release the TCL 10 Pro, TCL 10L and TCL 10 5G.
