    The 65th U.S. Army Infantry Regiment –also know as el sesento y cinco de infanteria, originated as a Puerto Rican outfit in the form of the battalion of Porto Rican volunteers (May 20, 1899) in the aftermath of Spanish-American war 1898.In 1908 ,and by then a regiment ,the unit officially became part of the U.S. Army .It came to be known as the Porto Rican Regiment. During WWI the regiment was sent to the Canal Zone  in Panama.in 1920,the unit’s name changed to the 65th Infantry Regiment ,U.S. Army .

    The BORINQUENEERS were honored in the following groups:

    World War 11: Distinguished Service Cross Silver Stars,44 Bronze Stars,  117 Purple Hearts,

    Korean War : battle participation credits: UN Defense -1950,  UN Offense -1950,

    Chinese Communist Forces (CCF) Intervention-1950, First UN Counterattack Offensive -1951,  UN and CCF Spring Offensive-1951,  UN Summer –Fall  Offensive -1951,

    2nd Korean Winter 1951-52,  Korean Summer –Fall -1952,  3rd Korean Winter -1952-53,

    1 Medal of Honor –MSG Juan E.Negron (Ret.), 12 Distinguished Service Crosses,

    253 Silver Stars, 1,146 Bronze Stars, 2,271 Purple Hearts,

    Korean War Unit Citations, Presidential Citations,  Korea Presidential Citations and Army Meritorious Unit Commendations,.

    Felicia’s business has evolved through the years. Early on, Felicia would load up her Minivan with her designs, and head out to Craft Shows and Flea markets.

    As her following grew, she expanded into true Wholesale distribution and became a staple in many of the Finest fashion Boutiques throughout the world. Today, Felicia’s Brand is displayed in over 5,000 of the most beautiful Boutiques throughout the US, Europe, and Asia.

    Felicia has been a Showcased Designer on Home Shopping Network, Shop NBC, and Shop Channel Japan. Her designs have graced the covers of many of the finest fashion catalogues, including Victoria’s Secret. And several of the most prominent Retail Chains in North America have featured her work, including Steinmart, Century 21, London Drugs, and several others.
