David Blaine Magician and illusionist at JDA at NRF

David Blaine is an American magician, illusionist and endurance artist. He is best known for his high-profile feats of endurance, and has made his name as a performer of street and close-up magic. He has performed all over the world and has set and broken several world records.

On May 19, 1997, Blaine’s first television special, David Blaine: Street Magic aired on then NBC. According to the New York Daily News: “Blaine can lay claim to his own brand of wizardry. The magic he offers in tonight’s show operates on an uncommonly personal level. When asked about his performance style, David explained, “I’d like to bring magic back to the place it used to be 100 years ago. Time magazine commented, “his deceptively low-key, ultracool manner leaves spectators more amazed than if he’d razzle-dazzled. The concept of focusing on spectator reactions changed the way that magic has been shown on television. The New York Times wrote: “He’s taken a craft that’s been around for hundreds of years and done something unique and fresh with it.

Blaine starred in a 90-minute ABC television special, “David Blaine: Real or Magic”, on November 19, 2013. The special was directed by Emmy Award winning director Matthew Akers and featured Blaine performing magic for his favorite celebrities and public figures including Woody Allen, Robert De Niro, George W. Disney’s Magic Kingdom Orlando Florida-2017

On April 11th 2017, World Liberty TV were guests of the Walt Disney World’s (WDW) oldest (Magic Kingdom- MK) and newest (Animal Kingdom- AK) parks.

Built in 1971, MK is the world’s most visited theme park in the world. Current attendance is 20m+ every year, and rising! MK was built on a man-made hill, allowing Cast Members (CMs) and VIP guests to move unseen via underground tunnels. MK is comprised of six Lands: Main Street U.S.A, AdventureLand, FrontierLand, Liberty Square, TomorrowLand and FrontierLand.

Guests initially reach park entrance via a huge ferry, small pirate boats, 6 original monorail trains, resort shuttle buses — all of which are part of WDW’s complimentary transportation system within its vast 47sq. mile territory. Those brave enough to fight incoming (and outgoing in the evening) traffic, pay parking toll at remote gates, find a spot likely a mile away, and then await for the long golf-style trains to carry them toward security check-in and turnstyles (do yourself a favor: go green and use Disney Transportation instead!)…Once inside MK, we traveled on its exclusive mile-and-half railroad, getting on and off in at least 3 lands!

Marlon “Magic Man” Starling 2 time World Welterweight Boxing Champion, 2013

Marlon “Magic Man” Starling was a two-time US world champion boxer.

Starling was born in Hartford, CT in 1959. He turned professional in 1979. After 25 straight wins, he lost his first fight. He lost a 12 round decision to Donald Curry in 1982. Starling had a rematch with Curry in 1984, challenging for the WBA and IBF welterweight titles. Starling lost by a 15 round decision.

Starling’s second world title fight came in 1987. He knocked out Mark Breland in the 11th round to win the WBA welterweight title. In his third title defense, Starling lost the title in controversial fashion to Tomas Molinares. Molinares hit Starling with a punch that was clearly thrown after the bell. Starling went down for the only time in his career, and the referee counted him out. Molinares was declared the new champion by knock out. However, the decision was later changed to a no contest but the Colombian kept the title.

In 1989, Starling knocked out Lloyd Honeyghan to win the WBC welterweight titles. The following year, Starling challenged Michael Nunn for the IBF middleweight title, but lost by decision. In his next fight, Starling lost his welterweight titles on a close decision to Maurice Blocker. That was Starling’s last fight. He retired with a record of 45-6-1-1 (27 KOs).

Bang & Olufsen’s 90th year celebration and debut of The Love Affair Connection- NY

During the roaring 20s, Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen started their journey into technology when it was still an almost magical phenomenon, and with the accompanying flourish of Art Deco, it was clear that luxury, glamour and exuberance were at the heart of the time. Launching today in celebration of Bang & Olufsen’s 90th Anniversary is the Love Affair Collection. This exclusive collection, containing six current B&O designs, is a living illustration of the love affair that has lasted from their origin in the roaring twenties to present day.

The radiant and romantic Rose golden nuance is achieved through a unique dyeing process, which in itself inspires our designers to create concepts that can match any style and any age, where the only limit is their imagination. This, combined with warm and elegant walnut wood, bridges past and present to represent the passion, pride and persistence that has been driving Bang & Olufsen for the last 90 years.

The Love Affair Collection consists of the following six current products; the first is the majestic and recently launched BeoVision Avant 85, and then the all-in one entertainment solution BeoVision 11-46 and BeoRemote One. Also included in the range is the extremely popular magic-touch BeoPlay A9 music system and the elegant, lightweight BeoPlay H6 headphones. Last but certainly not least, the collection will include the classic, slender and straight-lined BeoLab 18 with a new walnut lamella front and a cabinet in a stunningly elegant rose golden version.
