NOLCHA FASHION Designers Spring/Summer 2024, Showcase: The Nolcha Shows are a leading award winning event, held during New York Fashion Week, for independent fashion designers to showcase their collections to a global audience of press, retailers, stylists and industry influencers.
Over the past eleven years the Nolcha Shows have become established as a platform of discovery; promoting cutting edge innovative fashion designers through runway shows and exhibitions.
The Nolcha Shows have built an acclaimed reputation as a hot incubator of new fashion design talent and are officially listed by New York City Economic Development Corporation; offering a range of cost effective options to increase independent fashion designer’s recognition and develop their business.
The successful showcase consistently receives positive media coverage including features in Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur, New York Times, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, NBC and Inc and supported by brands including smartwater, Rusk, Vitamin Water, American Airlines, Don Q Rums and Landrover.
The NOLCHA Fashion Show 2023, had the following designers participate at the Iconic Mercedes Benz Showroom NYC. Vitruvius, often abbreviated as “Vs.,” is a forward-thinking fashion collective reshaping the boundaries of fashion by merging art, technology, and sustainable design.
Tina Tandon: is a NY based FIT trained Indian-American Fashion designer, having her fashion knowledge and experience fine-tuned with the likes of Top European Fashion brands – ESCADA and CHRISTIAN LACROIX under LVMH.
Oh Polly: Through our fashion-forward designs, we aim to bring pleasure, entertainment, and moments of celebration into our customers’ lives. Nardos Spring Summer 2024 collection fashion show: Nardos Imam is a renowned fashion designer who has developed a strong reputation for creating high-end, luxurious, and elegant garments. She was born and raised in Eritrea, where she was surrounded by sound of her mother’s sewing, inspiring her to pursue a career in the fashion industry when she moved to the United States. After graduating, she began her career working at Richard Brooks—a luxe fabric stores in Dallas.

The balloon inflation will take place on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022, from noon to 6 p.m. Spectators may enter the queue at West 72nd Street and Columbus Avenue.
Large backpacks, coolers, alcoholic beverages, chairs and umbrellas are expressly prohibited, and participants will be screened prior to entering the viewing route.
Once screened, spectators will enter the inflation viewing area at West 72nd Street and Central Park West. The balloon viewing path winds around the American Museum of Natural History. Spectators exit the viewing area at West 82nd Street and Central Park West.
The Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place on Thursday, November 24th, 2022, and will step off from Central Park West and 77th Street at 8:45 a.m. The procession marches to Columbus Circle, turns onto Central Park South and proceeds down 6th Avenue to West 34th Street. It then turns west and ends at 7th Avenue, in front of Macy’s Herald Square.
For some people, meeting up and watching the balloons for the Thanksgiving Day Parade being inflated is more of an annual event than the parade itself.
Why not do both? These days, the event happens mostly in the daylight hours. You can enter the line for viewing at West 72nd Street and Columbus Avenue beginning at noon on Wednesday.
300 Pounds of glitter is sprinkled on costumes, floats and more. 50,000+ hours of labor the Parade Studio team works hard to make sure every detail is perfect. 4,200 Costumes The team also designs and maintains thousands of looks for Parade participants.

The traditional Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Balloon Inflation takes place on Thanksgiving eve in the streets around the American Museum of Natural History.

The Saudi Fashion Commission, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, hosted the exhibition. The fashion exhibition will take place from July 26 to Aug. 7, 2022, at the Iron23 venue in New York.
The Saudi 100 Brands exhibition opened its doors yesterday in New York, displaying the works of 100 Saudi designers that reflect the culture and heritage of the Kingdom through demi-couture, bridal wear, bags, jewelry and much more.
Princess Reema bint Bandar Al-Saud, the Saudi ambassador to the US, inaugurated the opening ceremony of the exhibition with a speech.
“I will tell you that the collections that you see here are inspired by Arabia, but they are made for the world. That is the magic that the Saudi Fashion Commission has brought by bringing the collections to New York, the heart of the fashion world,” she said.
“Creativity is not born in one country. Culture is not defined by a border. And what you’re about to see is a symbol that has nothing to do with politics, that has nothing to do with governments, but has everything to do with the human spirit.”
The Saudi Fashion Commission, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, hosted the exhibition and chose the designers based on the uniqueness and cultural relevance of their pieces.
The fashion exhibition will take place from July 26 to Aug. 7, 2022, at the Iron23 venue in New York.
The designers initially discovered that their brand had been selected for the exhibition when they received an email from Princess Reema and Manuel Arnaut, the editor in chief of Vogue Arabia.
It was truly a great experience of seeing great creative work, of many Saudi designers having their Couture Designs, Jewelry Designs Bags and Bridal wear showcased right her in the fashion Capital of the World. IAC has organized an annual in-person conference devoted to gold and diamonds since 2011, holding its 2020 and 2021 events virtually. This year, “Bolding Building the Future: Gold, Diamonds, and Jewelry in a Transformational Age,” will take a wide-ranging look at the industry, employing jewelry as a lens.
Government, civil society, communities, and industry must preserve the magic, romance, and emotional power of gold, diamonds, and jewelry for the consumer while finding new ways to convey all of this.
