SIX LEADING HISPANIC BUSINESS WOMEN HONORED BY THE NEW YORK CITY HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN CELEBRATION OF WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH – MARCH 2019.
The New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NYCHCC), will honor six leading Hispanic business women at their 13th annual Women in Business luncheon.
The event is in celebration of Women’s History Month and will be held on Thursday, March 28th 2019 aboard The Bateaux New York, a Luxury Sightseeing Lunch Cruise, departing from Chelsea Pier 62 in Manhattan’s West Side.
The Chamber will be honoring Dr. Lissette Garcia, Senior VP & Chief Operating Officer, (Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR), Wendy Garcia, Chief Diversity Officer, (Office of NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer), Teresa Gonzalez, Principal, (DalyGonzalez), Grace Matos, Latino Market Manager, (New York Life Insurance Company), Idelsa Méndez, Development Manager, (Division of Institutional Advancement, Hostos Community College), and Dyanne M. Rosado, Global Director – Talent & Culture Design, (Nasdaq).
“The New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our 2019 Women in Business Awards Luncheon,” says Nick Lugo, President of NYCHCC. “The Women in Business Luncheon was created to salute and honor the commitment of exceptional Hispanic women.
It also serves as the Chamber’s first fundraiser of the year. All honorees have proven themselves in their respective fields, and have worked diligently and with integrity to climb the corporate ladder. Each honoree has demonstrated social responsibility by giving back to their communities.”

The Chamber hopes that our 13th Annual Women in Business Luncheon inspires more support and membership so that we can continue to uphold the standards of our mission and our vision to build a healthy, culturally diverse and economically strong Hispanic business organization in New York City.”

Close to 300 people were in attendance, food was great , many raffles were drawn, everybody received a nice gift bag as a parting gift to the event, emcee for the event was Cristy Marrero, Journalist/Content Creator/Author, Welcoming remarks by Nick Lugo, President New York City Hispanic Chamber of commerce, other remarks were made by Cindy Estrada, Executive Director NYHCC and by Sulma Arzu –Brown ,Director of Operations for NYHCC.
