100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to the Volunteer program to provide services and activities to the families battling pediatric cancer at Ronald McDonald House New York.
On Tuesday, June 19, 2018, volunteers from Ronald McDonald House® New York (“the House”) will celebrate its annual Heroes Volunteer Event. The event acknowledges and is organized by the thousands of dedicated volunteers who help create a seamless circle of support through numerous services and programs for the families staying at the House who are battling pediatric cancer.
More than 1,100 people are expected to attend this year’s event. The House’s incredibly robust Volunteer program is on pace for more than 8,000 volunteers and over 350 corporations to come through its doors on East 73rd Street in 2018.
This year’s event will include exquisite food provided by Tony’s Di Napoli, top-shelf open bar, a silent online and on-site auction, live music and dancing, living statues, Mentalist Ryan Oaks, DJ Mr. Biggs, as well as celebrity guests.
One hundred percent of the night’s proceeds will go directly to the activities, trips, meals and programming organized by The House volunteers year-round to help provide a little laughter, joy and lasting memories for sick children and their families to cherish.
As part of the evening’s festivities, there will be a giant puzzle with 200 pieces. Guests will purchase pieces of the puzzle at various price ranges with each purchase going toward a specific activity, trip, holiday meals, or a night’s stay for a family at the House.
In addition to a puzzle piece, guests will also purchase an exclusive Stevie Van Zandt bandana designed with Tommy Hilfiger and John Varvatos called Little Steven’s Magic Bandanas. Van Zandt’s concept behind the bandana is to make the children of the House feel like rock stars first and kids with cancer second. Van Zandt is a Ronald McDonald House New York Ambassador.
