On May 2, 2017 from 6 PM to 9 PM, more than 60 restaurants, beverage purveyors, and dessert makers to provide samples of their products to 700 attendees. It’s Queens, so diversity will be on display from first bite with everything from creamy to crunchy, fiery to flaky, and savory to sweet. Astoria’s Sabor de Cuba will probably offer shredded beef with plantains, while La Adelita in Woodside might give away Mexican chalupas. The Nest, a Guyanese/Trinidadian eatery in Richmond Hill, usually dishes out curry, jerk, and BBQ chicken, and Bayside’s Bareburger should bequeath beer-braised bacon with stout onions on a mustard pretzel bun. So delicious!.
