Tour of Florida Miami, West Palm Beach and Orlando-2017

Our brand new Lincoln Navigator took mere 17 hours to carry our team via the center city of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, Richmond all the way to St.Mary River welcome to FL crossing!

The scenery turned to palm trees, and first up was the bustling industrial center and port of Jacksonville. Next we by-passed America’s oldest city St.Augustine, the newly developing (reputedly via Russian money) Palm Coast and the famed host of Daytona 500 speedway, the international Bike Week, as well as the decades of spring breaks: the “World’s Most Famous” Daytona Beach! Finally, 22 hours following our Verrazano Bridge start, we have arrived at the South Florida’s establishment of West Palm Beach…

And there we went: snapping quick shots of the Renaissance tapestry within the walls of The Breakers, while the valet cut circles around its grand welcoming alleys! We then proceeded via Worth Avenue, the Rodeo Drive’s of Beverly Hills twin sister here on the East Coast. And just a block short of Mar A Lago: kaboom, enter with neighborhood ID only, the place is all getting prepped for China president Xi inaugural visit…We had to park beachfront, and share the crystal-clear, turquoise waters with the Coast Guard.

Disney’s Safari Park Animal Kingdom Orlando Florida-2017

Africa is one of the original areas of the Animal Kingdom (AK) park. Set in the fictional east African port village and the Harambe Wildlife Preserve is home of Africa’s main attraction, Kilimanjaro Safaris. Guests climb aboard an open-sided safari vehicle for an expedition to see African species in savanna, rivers and rocky hills. On the adjacent Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, visitors trek into the forest where black-and-white colobus monkeys, gerenuks, gorillas, hippos, Kenyan sand boas, kori bustards, meerkats, naked mole-rats, okapis, tarantulas, and yellow-backed duikers, as well as an aviary, are all nested. On the western side of Africa is the Harambe Theater, home to the Festival of the Lion King, a stage attraction based on the 1994 Disney animated hit film.

Disney’s Resorts Orlando Florida-2017

On its vast 47sq mile property (one-and-half-times territory of Manhattan island in NYC!), WDW constructed as many as 23 themed resorts, operating today under its brand name. The original Contemporary and Polynesian resorts have blossomed from their introductory $13/night pricing to some $1000/night in highly demanded school...

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Orlando Florida-2017

AK is a wholly zoological theme park, and is the largest theme park in the world (580 acres)! When conceived, AK was to focus on three broad classifications of animals: those that exist in today’s reality; those that did exist but are now extinct (dinosaurs); and those that only exist in the realm of fantasy! AK opened on Earth Day April 22, 1998, and is the newest completed WDW park themed entirely around the natural environment and animal conservation, a philosophy pioneered by Walt Disney. AK is accredited by the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums, in that it has met or exceeded the standards in education, conservation, and research. AK’s symbol is the Tree of Life. AK hosts10m+ visitors annually, the fourth-most visited amusement park in the US, right behind the other three WDW parks! AK is divided into six themed areas, notably Discovery Island, Africa, Asia, DinoLand U.S.A.  From parking, or off the Disney bus, enter Rainforest Café prior to entering The Oasis (main entrance), whosepaths lead deeper in AK via Discovery Island. This is the center of the park, in the middle of the Discovery River waterway, the central hub connecting the other sections of the park.

The Tree of Life, the park’s sculpted, man-made 145-foot-tall 50-foot-wide Baobab tree, is surrounded by trails and animal enclosures. Beneath it lies It’s Tough to Be a Bug!, a wonderful 4D experience based on the 1998 Disney· Pixar  film “A Bug’s Life”.

Disney’s Magic Kingdom Orlando Florida-2017

On April 11th 2017, World Liberty TV were guests of the Walt Disney World’s (WDW) oldest (Magic Kingdom- MK) and newest (Animal Kingdom- AK) parks.

Built in 1971, MK is the world’s most visited theme park in the world. Current attendance is 20m+ every year, and rising! MK was built on a man-made hill, allowing Cast Members (CMs) and VIP guests to move unseen via underground tunnels. MK is comprised of six Lands: Main Street U.S.A, AdventureLand, FrontierLand, Liberty Square, TomorrowLand and FrontierLand.

Guests initially reach park entrance via a huge ferry, small pirate boats, 6 original monorail trains, resort shuttle buses — all of which are part of WDW’s complimentary transportation system within its vast 47sq. mile territory. Those brave enough to fight incoming (and outgoing in the evening) traffic, pay parking toll at remote gates, find a spot likely a mile away, and then await for the long golf-style trains to carry them toward security check-in and turnstyles (do yourself a favor: go green and use Disney Transportation instead!)…Once inside MK, we traveled on its exclusive mile-and-half railroad, getting on and off in at least 3 lands!
