Interview with Boxing Great Sugar Shane Mosley 3 Time World Champion-2025

Retired American professional boxer from Pomona, California. Mosley has held world titles in three weight divisions. He held the IBF Lightweight Championship, WBC & WBA (Super) Welterweight Championships and WBC, WBA (Super) & The Ring Light Middleweight Championships.

“Sugar” Shane Mosley is a renowned American former professional boxer, known for his explosive style and impressive record. He held world titles in three different weight divisions, including the IBF Lightweight title, WBC Welterweight title, and WBA (Super) and WBC Light Middleweight titles. Mosley’s career spanned from 1993 to 2016, during which he earned numerous accolades and fought some of the sport’s top contenders.

Born Shane Donte Mosley on September 7, 1971, in Lynwood, California. He grew up in Pomona, California, and started boxing as an amateur.Amassed over 200 wins as an amateur, including multiple U.S. Amateur championships. Fought against future Hall of Famer Oscar De La Hoya as an amateur, winning on points. He trained with his father, Jack Mosley, who was also a boxer

Turned professional in 1993 and quickly established himself as a dominant force. Defeated Philip Holiday in 1997 to win the IBF Lightweight title and defended it eight times, all by KO. Defeated Oscar De La Hoya in 2000 to win the WBC Welterweight title. Defeated De La Hoya again in 2002 to win the WBC and WBA (Super) Light Middleweight titles.

Known for his explosive power and ability to land devastating punches. Nicknamed “Sugar” early in his career, which he wore with pride. Was voted the best fighter in the world by The Ring magazine in 2000 and 2001.

A three-time world champion, holding titles in three different weight divisions. His legacy is marked by impressive KO percentages and dominant performances. He is widely regarded as one of the most exciting and entertaining boxers of his generation. Inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2023.

Interview with Vergil Ortiz Jr, 2 Time World Boxing Champion-2025

The undefeated knockout monster and current WBC Interim Super Welterweight World Champion, Vergil Ortiz Jr., (23-0, 21 KOs), is one of the most dangerous fighters of this generation. His love for boxing began at five years old when he was introduced to the sport by his father. As a decorated amateur, he is a seven-time national champion and winner of the 2013 Junior Olympics with an impressive record of 140-20.

He went on to sign with Golden Boy in 2016 and made his professional debut on July 30 at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino with a first-round knockout of Julio Rodas. Since then, he has built an enviable fighter resume that reflects over 90-percent knockouts, and has made some of the world’s toughest contenders fold to his tremendous power including Antonio “Relentless” Orozco, Brad “King” Solomon, Maurice “Mighty Mo” Hooker and Michael McKinson, to name a few.

In August 2024, Ortiz Jr. secured the WBC Interim super welterweight title in a bout that is lauded as a candidate for Fight of the Year, where he went toe-to-toe with the also formerly undefeated Serhii Bohachuk. He was most recently seen defending his title in dominant fashion against the elite and former WBA super welterweight champion, Israil Madrimov, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Feb. 22, 2025.

With this masterclass victory over Madrimov, Ortiz Jr. further proves why the boxing world considers him an ‘old-school’ type of fighter.

Exclusive Interview with Jesse “Bam Bam” Rodriguez 2 Time World Boxing Champion-2025

Jesse “Bam Bam” Rodriguez is a 24-year-old American professional boxer, currently holding the WBC junior bantamweight title. He is a two-division champion, having also previously held the WBC super-flyweight title and unified WBO and IBF flyweight titles.

Rodriguez, trained by Robert Garcia, is known for his southpaw stance and impressive knockout power.Rodriguez began his boxing journey in the amateur ranks, winning national titles and a silver medal at the Junior World Championships.

He turned professional in 2017 and quickly gained recognition for his knockout power, amassing a record of 14 wins and 0 losses by the end of 2021. He won the WBC super-flyweight title in 2022, becoming the youngest titleholder in boxing at the time.

Rodriguez has held both the WBC super-flyweight and the unified WBO and IBF flyweight titles, making him a two-division champion. He has faced and defeated notable opponents like Carlos Cuadras, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, and Juan Francisco Estrada.

His recent victory over Estrada in June 2024 earned him the WBC junior bantamweight title. Rodriguez is currently ranked as one of the world’s best light-flyweight and junior-bantamweight boxers by The Ring magazine. He is trained by Robert Garcia, a renowned boxing coach.
