BORN TO SHARE PEACE: From his birth in the foothills of the Himalayas, His Eminence Shyalpa Tenzin Rinpoche was recognized as a holy child. He began training as a spiritual leader at the age of four.

After attending university in Varanasi, Rinpoche has been spreading peace across North America, Asia, and Europe.

GUIDING PEOPLE TOWARD FREEDOM AND JOY:As a lineage master and teacher, His Eminence Shyalpa Tenzin Rinpoche guides those who wish to live fully and freely in the moment. Rinpoche’s teachings show us how to actualize our innate potential and breathe with joy and ease.

His Eminence has founded meditation and teaching centers in the United States, including Buddhafield, the Center for Enlightenment in Millerton, New York. In Asia, He founded Wencheng Gongzhu International Foundation in Hong Kong (China), and its branches in Taiwan (China) and Malaysia.

His Eminence is the abbot of Shyalpa Monastery and Nunnery in Kathmandu, Nepal, where over 150 monks and nuns are in residence, receiving spiritual and secular education. His charitable organizations include the Bhrikuti Himalayan Foundation and the Himalayan Children’s Fund, which support humanitarian and philanthropic activities in the Himalayan region.

 AN INVITATION FOR ALL OF HUMANITY TO GIVE BIRTH TO PEACE: Construction for the sanctuary began in 2018, and now Rinpoche travels the world to invite people to support the completion of the building of the Universal Peace Sanctuary and help to create a more peaceful world. Shyalpa Rinpoche would like to invite everyone to become a stakeholder of this historic Universal Peace Sanctuary.

BREAKING NEW GROUND FOR PEACE: Inspired by a lotus flower — the universal symbol of peace — Shyalpa Rinpoche was able to actualize his vision for the design of this spectacular building with the expertise of world renowned architect, Stephan Braunfels, as well as an international team of engineers, architects and designers.

A PLACE TO WELCOME ALL RELIGIONS, COLORS AND CREEDS:People from all over the world will be able to visit and experience teachings of wisdom tradition from spiritual leaders, indigenous elders and brilliant thinkers, helping to bridge cultural divides, connect with each other and explore the true meaning of a peaceful co-existence with all sentient beings.

GLOBAL EVENTS AND TEACHINGS TO INSPIRE PEACE:Up to 1,500 people will be able to gather in the state-of-the-art Grand Auditorium for world class events. Conferences and forums on critical issues, meditation and teachings on enlightenment where people will learn how to embody inner peace, alongside concerts and symposiums with international artists will inspire and connect people through music, art and performance.

A MUSEUM TO PRESERVE PEACE: This sanctuary will house a curated collection of precious artifacts from past centuries, alongside modern works by contemporary artists commissioned to create new art inspired by the concept of universal peace.

A MODERN AND SPACIOUS RESTAURANT: Enjoy international cuisine and delicious refreshments in this bright and airy setting, the perfect place to meet with like-minded people visiting from all over the world. Our private dining rooms can be booked for more intimate social gatherings and meetings.

 I had the pleasure of being introduced by Nicole Enslein, Founder and CEO, Sublime Communications, based in Stamford Connecticut, Who Met His Eminence Shylpa Tenzin Rinpoche  Founder Peace Sanctuary in Davos , World Economic Forum, and immediately loved the mission his Shylpa Tenzin Rinpoche, shared with her.

They started a very wonderful friendship, and it got to where, Nicole got involved and introduced his Eminence , to many people who would help him with fundraising to accomplish this goal. His Eminence went on to say that , he has raised close to Five Million dollars so far, and needs to raise close to another fifteen million dollars to finish this project .

Close to 15 people attended this very private dinner in heart of New York City, High level business people, in Hedge fund industries, Crypto, High Finance, people in high finance business and it also included my dear friend Urgen Sherpa, Former President of the United Sherpa Association. Who was very impressed in the project his Eminence Shylpa Tenzin Rinpoche  Founder Peace Sanctuary.
