Vinexpo New York  just a few weeks away, organizers have announced the final lineup of conferences, master classes and special features for North America’s leading international exhibition exclusively for the wine and spirits trade.

Vinexpo New York will span two full days of exhibits, educational programming, business meetings, tastings and networking at Manhattan’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, March 4-5, 2019.

Conferences address issues from climate change to cannabis: Among the most critical topics on the conference agenda is Global Climate Change and the Wine Industry. International energy and climate change expert John P. Holdren PhD will lead a discussion of the growing impact of rising global temperatures on everything from grape quality to vineyard costs to shifting grape-growing borders.

Champagnes and a study of glass shape join the Master Class program:New additions to the 2019 Master Class program include an exploration of the effect of a glass’s shape on the wine it holds. Led by Reidel North America’s Anne Koziara, See, Smell, Taste the Difference a Glass Makes is a can’t-miss class for sommeliers, beverage directors and mixologists.

One to Wine Meetings sign-up opens: Vinexpo New York’s complimentary matchmaking service, One to Wine Meetings aligns attendees and exhibitors and schedules on-site meetings in advance so attendees can make the most of their time at the show. Enrolled exhibitors have access to the portal now, and enrolled attendees will gain access Feb. 13.
