Dr Adal’s Keynote Speech on Global Warming @ World Human Rights & Development Inc-2019

Dr Adal M. Hussain, (AKA Dr .Abbey ) has been an Humanitarian for over 44 years, started his humanitarian work at age 8, now 52 years old.

Dr. Abbey   8 years old, while living in England, with his family saw TV shots of the droughts, hunger and starvation in Ethiopia, and that night trying to sleep he saw these images over and over again, and spoke to his grandad about this and his grandfather asked him what are you going to do about it, Dr Abbey said, to him he must do something to help these hungry and starving kids in Ethiopia.

So his grandfather asked him do you have money to send them, Dr .Abbey told him he had saved $10.00 (Dollars), so the grandfather told him that was not enough and will not help too many kids, so he told him to get all his friends together and have them to come, to the house for a cookout, with each person donating  2 dollars, which they will get a snack and a glass of lemonade.

So I knocked on many doors and told my friends and family to come and help with this humanitarian cause, the following week we had close to 100 people attend, and my family and my grandpa, could not make enough snacks and lemonade drinks, as we had no idea of how many people would show up, some of them got snacks and lemonade, a lot of them did not but they all liked my humanitarian idea and donated their money and left.

That night I raised close to $400.00 dollars, and my grandad , told me with that kind of money you will feed hundreds of people, and I told him for how long, he went on to tell me you cannot save the whole world, if you help one person, you have accomplished your goal as an Humanitarian.

So after that , Dr. Abbey established his self as a humanitarian, organizing events, fundraisers, helping people locally internationally that needed help, working with organizations like Oxfam, Feed the World, Bob Geldof’s foundation and many more.

Let me begin, by saying I met Edward Rouse, AKA Ed, approximately 20 years ago, as I just started my career as an journalist, with my Liberty News Online Magazine, which I started with a group of journalist friends.

One a few occasions, we bumped into each other at different , events we were covering for our Liberty News Online Magazine, it was at the Hilton hotel , The 100 Black men Gala , where I went and introduced myself to Ed, as I was networking, with different people.

Approximately 3 Weeks ago, Ed was going in and out of hospital, he had cancer, heart issues, and breathing problems, I visited him on few occasions, and then they bought him in for the final time, where the Doctors pronounced him, brain dead. He was moved to an hospice after that and 2 days later he passed away.

Mr Noor and his professional staff , took the Body of Ed, from the hospital , prepared it fully at their funeral home and then had the body taken to the cemetery, in a hearse .Which they did not charge a single penny for their services, we  will be ever grateful to Bro, Noor and his staff with helping us with this. Cyndi Lauper Grammy Emmy and Tony Winning Artist @ NYWFD-2019

A Grammy, Emmy and Tony award winning artist with 30 sterling years and global record sales in excess of 50 million, Cyndi Lauper has proven that she has the heart and soul to keep her legion of fans compelled by her every creative move. Lauper recently became a New York Times Best Selling author with her autobiography – Cyndi Lauper: A Memoir – published by Simon & Schuster and wrote the original score for the Tony award winning best musical Kinky Boots.

Helping others has always been a guiding force for Cyndi and she focuses her efforts to make a difference through the True Colors Fund. An unwavering advocate for equality long before she became famous, she co-founded the organization in 2008 to bring an end to homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth and create a world where all young people can be their true selves.

In addition, Cyndi is the Honorary Chairperson and a co- founder of the True Colors Residence, the first project of its kind to provide a permanent, supportive and secure home to formerly homeless LGBT youth in New York City. Cyndi also continues to be a tireless participant in the struggle to end the HIV/AIDS pandemic and ensure that women are treated equally around the world.

For more than 30 years, Cyndi Lauper has been a songwriting provocateur.  Her musical achievements are so pervasive that they have become entwined in the cultural landscape.

Cyndi first found acclaim in 1983, co-writing a pair of memorable singles “Time After Time” and “She Bop” for her seminal debut, She’s So Unusual.  Spring-boarding off this success, she co-wrote most of her follow-up album, True Colors, including the hit “Change of Heart.”

As her craft evolved, so did her nuance for expressing social issues, notably on Hat Full of Stars (“Sally’s Pigeons,” “A Part Hate”, “Broken Glass”) and Sisters of Avalon (“Ballad of Cleo And Joe,” “Say A Prayer”).

Throughout her career Cyndi has penned tracks with an assortment of her peers including Billy Joel, The Hooters, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jeff Beck, Junior Vasquex, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Nellie McKay and Max Martin.  In 2013, those decades of songwriting culminated in Cyndi’s first foray into Broadway, composing the music for the critically adored Broadway musical Kinky Boots.

The musical won six Tony Awards, including one for her score, which made her the first woman to win solo in that category.  The show has gone on to set a box office record.  All told, Cyndi’s spirited songwriting has earned her more than 50 million in album sales, two Grammys®, an Emmy, and a Tony.

Mrs Lauper was honored at the New York Women’s Foundation’s Celebrating Women’s Breakfast with the Visions award, where she did her keynote speech, see more about entertainers and musicians in our World Liberty TV Celebrity and Entertainment Channel by clicking here.
