    The Specialty Food Association today announced that Turkey will be the partner country for this year’s Summer Fancy Food Show, the largest marketplace for specialty food in North America, taking place June 25 – 27, 2017 in New York City.

    The participation of Turkey at Summer Fancy Food Show is organized by Aegean Exporters’ Associations who, for 20 years, have promoted high quality Turkish food products in the US market.

    40 Turkish companies will present a wide range of products at the show, including a diverse array of oils; fruits and vegetables in dried, frozen, preserved, pickled and canned form; fruit juices; pasta; grains; confections; herbs; spices; nuts and more.

    The biggest fight in boxing today will come to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 16 when two-division world champion Canelo Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) squares off against IBF/WBA/WBC Middleweight World Champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) over 12 rounds during Mexican Independence Day weekend. The event will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View.

    In what may be boxing’s best, most competitive fight in 2017, the mega-event will feature two of the most popular and powerful fighters in the storied middleweight division fighting for ultimate supremacy and glory.

    Canelo versus Golovkin features two of the most explosive, heavy handed fighters in any division,” said Golden Boy Promotions Chairman and CEO Oscar De La Hoya. “Both fighters have the type of action-packed style that fans clamour for. This is a mega-fight that will attract fans from all around the World. Canelo fears no man and will prove it when he steps in the ring with Golovkin.”

    Born into a boxing family, Mikey’s father Eduardo was the trainer of famed fighter Fernando Vargas and he passed the sport on to his three sons. Mikey is trained by his brother, former Trainer of the Year Robert Garcia, while his other brother Daniel, is also a boxing trainer.

    Garcia is bi-lingual and graduated from the Ventura County Police Academy in his hometown of Ventura, California. He began his amateur career at 14-years-old and took home National PAL and Junior Golden Gloves championships. His amateur career also saw him score a victory  over unbeaten professional champion Danny Garcia.

    He turned pro in 2006 and quickly began delivering knockouts and moved himself up the rankings. In 2011 he defeated previously unbeaten Matt Remillard and followed it up with impressive performances against Rafael Guzman and Jonathan Barros before his first world title opportunity came to fruition.

    January 2013 saw Garcia battle Mexican legend Orlando Salido for the featherweight world championship. Garcia was dominant on his way to taking a technical decision victory while knocking Salido down four times.

    Garcia sought out a world title at 130-pounds next and would face Puerto Rico’s Roman Martinez in November 2013 to achieve that goal. He survived a second round knockdown to eventually knockout the reigning champion in the eighth round.

    After a lengthy layoff, Garcia returned to the ring in style in July when he knocked former world champion Elio Rojas down four times on his way to a fifth-round stoppage victory. His next challenge saw him match up against 135-pound champion Dejan Zlaticanin in January 2017 in the hopes of becoming a three-division world champion.

    Garcia delivered a highlight reel knockout as he flattened the previously unbeaten champion and captured the WBC lightweight championship. Garcia will now face four-division world    champion Adrien Broner at Barclays Center in one of the most anticipated bouts of the summer.

    New for Caribbean Week New York, the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) has added a RUM Rumble during Caribbean Media Marketplace (Thursday, June 8) where more than 125 journalists, as well as tourism officials and industry executives,  witnessed  the best-of-the-best Caribbean rum-mixing masters compete for the title of Caribbean Week Mixologist of the Year. The Caribbean Week Mixologist of the Year was  announced at the RUM & Rhythm Benefit where the Rum Rumble finalists  debuted their winning cocktails on Friday, June 9.

    Caribbean Week New York is the largest regional tourism activity in the New York area. Artists, performers, celebrity chefs, investors and other strategic partners join government officials and the media as all converge on New York for a week that showcases the diversity and vibrancy of the region.

    Christ the Redeemer (statue), is an Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, created by French sculptor Paul Landowski and built by the Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa, in collaboration with the French engineer Albert Caquot. Romanian sculptor Gheorghe Leonida fashioned the face. The statue is 30 metres (98 ft) tall, not including its 8-metre (26 ft) pedestal, and its arms stretch 28 metres (92 ft) wide.

    The statue weighs 635 metric tons (625 long, 700 short tons), and is located at the peak of the 700-metre (2,300 ft) Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city of Rio. A symbol of Christianity across the world, the statue has also become a cultural icon of both Rio de Janeiro and Brazil, and is listed as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.It is made of reinforced concrete and soapstone, and was constructed between 1922 and 1931.

    We had the pleasure of  being on the most recognized and world renowned beaches in the World, World  Famous Copacabana and  Ipanema Beaches  in Rio De Janeiro. You will see exclusive footage  of both of these beaches, People Swimming, Dancing, eating, playing Beach volleyball, Soccer .     Stretching 4km, Copacabana is the longest Rio city beach! There is a subtle transition between Leme and Copacabana at Princesa Isabel Avenue which cuts across to Bota Fogo via a tunnel. The curvature of the bay provides thousands of stunning views and while swimming in the sea you can see classic Rio hills such as the Pão de Açucar.

    Ipanema beach is bordered by Arpoador Beach on one end and Leblon Beach on the other end. This beach is considered one of the main centers of activity for the city of Rio. One of the most expensive places to live, the neighborhood is full of wealthy residents.

    It is started as a studio touring attraction which was originated at Universal’s Hollywood location beginning around 1910s, then later in 1964 when it turned into a huge family amusement park destination, where guests can experience the behind the scenes look of the making of motion pictures and television programs, produced by Universal Studios and occasionally others, and ride the attraction based on world’s favorite feature films and television shows. The popularity of Universal Studios Hollywood had lead Universal to build another parks in Florida and overseas during the following years. Universal parks had not necessary to be built as entertainment studio-theme, other Universal parks (both current and former) can be themed to other experiences, like Universal’s Islands of Adventure, themed to islands of various experiences, Port Avenrua, themed to international countries, Wet ‘n Wild Orlando, themed to a water playground, and Volcano Bay, themed to Polynesian culture.

    The theme parks were owned by Seagram through the ownership via Universal Studios.

    In 2014, approximately 40.1+million guests visited Universal Studios theme parks, making it the third-largest amusement park operator in the world. It is a major competitor of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, and SeaWorld Entertainment.

    Universal Studios theme park in Hollywood was the first Universal Studios theme park to open on July 15, 1964, long after it was originated as a studio tour attraction in 1915, after the Universal original founder, Carl Laemmle opened Universal City.

    In 1990, Universal Orlando Resort (formally called Universal Studios Escape) opened to the public in Orlando, Florida, started with Universal Studios Florida.     Our brand new Lincoln Navigator took mere 17 hours to carry our team via the center city of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, Richmond all the way to St.Mary River welcome to FL crossing!

    The scenery turned to palm trees, and first up was the bustling industrial center and port of Jacksonville. Next we by-passed America’s oldest city St.Augustine, the newly developing (reputedly via Russian money) Palm Coast and the famed host of Daytona 500 speedway, the international Bike Week, as well as the decades of spring breaks: the “World’s Most Famous” Daytona Beach! Finally, 22 hours following our Verrazano Bridge start, we have arrived at the South Florida’s establishment of West Palm Beach…

    And there we went: snapping quick shots of the Renaissance tapestry within the walls of The Breakers, while the valet cut circles around its grand welcoming alleys! We then proceeded via Worth Avenue, the Rodeo Drive’s of Beverly Hills twin sister here on the East Coast. And just a block short of Mar A Lago: kaboom, enter with neighborhood ID only, the place is all getting prepped for China president Xi inaugural visit…We had to park beachfront, and share the crystal-clear, turquoise waters with the Coast Guard.

    Africa is one of the original areas of the Animal Kingdom (AK) park. Set in the fictional east African port village and the Harambe Wildlife Preserve is home of Africa’s main attraction, Kilimanjaro Safaris. Guests climb aboard an open-sided safari vehicle for an expedition to see African species in savanna, rivers and rocky hills. On the adjacent Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, visitors trek into the forest where black-and-white colobus monkeys, gerenuks, gorillas, hippos, Kenyan sand boas, kori bustards, meerkats, naked mole-rats, okapis, tarantulas, and yellow-backed duikers, as well as an aviary, are all nested. On the western side of Africa is the Harambe Theater, home to the Festival of the Lion King, a stage attraction based on the 1994 Disney animated hit film.
